Detailed Itinerary For The Exotic Myanmar Tour

DAY 01 - ARRIVAL YANGON ( WELCOME DINNER)


yangon08Arrive by international flight and welcome by our Experienced English Speaking Guide at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check- in the hotel. Start Yangon City Orientation tour . Visit the colonial area, Sule Pagoda-the landmark of Yangon City Centre, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image. Take a fresh breath at Karaweik Garden and photo taking the Great Shwedagon Pagoda with fantastic panoramic view. Complete you first day by visiting Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the wonders of the world. Dinner at Karaweik Royal Barge Restaurant with culture show. Leisure and overnight at hotel.


DAY 02 - DRIVE TO GOLDEN ROCK [160 KM, 06 HOURS] – (B)


kyaikhtiyo03Morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Golden Rock [Kayikhtiyoe] – the balancing pagoda which stands on a boulder on the edge of a hill. On the way, enjoy the natural beauty. Upon arrival at the base camp, take the truck about 45 minutes to Yetetaung Camp. From there, we’ve to walk about 1 hour to the top of the pagoda. Visit around and overnight at Kyaikhtiyoe.



DAY 03 – GOLDEN ROCK – BAGO -YANGON –(B)


bago04Morning breakfast at the hotel. Come down to the base camp and drive to Bago. Visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the highest stupa in Myanmar, Shwetharlyaung Reclining Buddha,And then continue to Yangon. ON the way visitUpon arrival, transfer in and check in at the hotel. On the way to Yangon , visit  Htaukkyant 2nd World War cemetery night in Yangon.

DAY 04 – YANGON- MANDALAY-EXCURSION MINGUN & SIGHTSEEING MANDALAY (B)


mandalay09Morning breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and fly to Mandalay, upon arrival directly boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along the Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Back to Mandalay and visit traditional handicraft workshops such as, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest marble book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery – the finest of wood carving. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 05 - EXCURSION AMARAPURA, SAGAING & AVA (INWA) – (B)


mingun05Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image - one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Excursion to Amarapura, an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries, Kaungmudaw Pagoda - the magnificent dome remarkably seen from far away, silverware factory, etc. Continue to Ava (Inwa) and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery - built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower-27 meter masonry high is, Bargayar Monastery - well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 06 - DRIVE TO MONYWA (112 KM, 03:30 HOURS). EXCURSION POWINTAUNG CAVES ( B)


monywa03Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Monywa and on the way enjoy the life of rural area. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Excursion to Powintaung Caves situated in a cliff which houses over 400,000 Buddha Images. Overnight in Monywa.




DAY 07 - VISIT MONYWA & PROCEED TO BAGAN (290 KM, 5/6 HOURS) – (B)


monywa04Morning, breakfast at the hotel.  Visit Thanbode Temple – over 500, 000 Buddha images built in 1930, Bodhitathaung Temple – over 1000 sitting Buddha images under Bodhi trees (Ficus Religioso), Shwetharlyaung Buddha image, etc. Proceed to Pakkoku, typical Myanmar village where we have to take the ferry across the Ayeyarwaddy River.   And then drive to Bagan. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 08 - SIGHTSEEING BAGAN (B)

Visit colorful local market, Shwezigon Pagoda - the glory of Bagan, Htilominlo Temple-the best pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung - monastery made of teak wood, Ananda Temple - the masterpiece of Bagan, Gubyaukgyi Temple - the best mural paintings of 11th century, Manuha Temple - huge Buddha Images, Dhamayangyi Temple - the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple - the 12th century temple, the lacquerware workshop - the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, enjoy the sunset on the top of the temple. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 09 - EXCRUSION MT.POPA (50 KM, 2 HOURS) (B)


popa07Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt. Popa – an extinct volcano which is known as “Home of the Spirits” and observe the life of the rural area on the way such as producing the palm sweets. We may stop several places of making the photos and knowing the countryside. Upon arrival, climb up 777 steps to reach to the top of Mt. Popa cliff and you may admire the beautiful landscape and view to extinct volcano of Mt. Popa. Back to Bagan and take the boat ride on mighty Ayeyarwaddy river during the sunset time. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 10 - FLY TO HEHO. DRIVE TO PINDAYA (45 KM, 01:30 HOURS) (B)


pindaya06Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya and enjoy the marvelous landscapes of hilly region with vegetables plantation, terrace-landing cultivation, etc. Visit the Pindaya Caves-houses 8094 Buddha Images cast in lacquer, wood, stone, alabaster, etc, umbrella workshop, which is made of pulp. Leisure and overnight at hotel.



DAY 11- DRIVE TO IN INLE LAKE (B)


inle09After breakfast start drive to Inle Lake famous as the most beautiful lake in Myanmar, Inle Lake's calm waters are surrounded by high hills and dotted with floating gardens and stilted villages. Then drive to NyaungShwe where Inle Lake is situated. On arrival at Nyaung shwe we’ll visit the “long neck” tribal women, and weaving and craft villages perched on stilts. Then transfer to jetty and pick up our boat & transfer to your hotel for check in. After check in tour start to see the lake’s unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar., floating garden, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and Ngephaung Chaung monastery. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 12 - EXCURSION TO IN DEIN PAGODA COMPLEX (B)


indein01Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake. Visit In Thein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes-which are supposed to be old about 500 years, floating gardens, floating villages, Lotus-petal robe weaving looms, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda-the most venerable pagoda on the lake, which houses 05 images of Buddha completely gilded, In Paw Khon village to observe the silk weaving, jumping cats monastery, etc. Overnight.

DAY 13 - FLY TO YANGON. SIGHTSEEING (B)


Morning breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Visit Bogyoke market [except on Monday] & china town. Leisure and overnight in Yangon.

DAY 14 – DEPART FROM YANGON (B)


Morning breakfast at the hotel. Free until transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight.
